Sweet Pea von Salzen is a gorgeous 18 month old sable German Shepherd. Sweet Pea is our latest 'tripod' with 3 legs that sure doesn't seem to faze her.
Per her foster dad:
We named her Sweet-Pea because she's sure to warm your heart and make you smile. Sweet-Pea is an amazing girl. She's quite the snuggle bunny. She is a tripod, her left rear leg was amputated, but that doesn't stop her from running, hiking and playing with her dog and human friends. She is quite the hit at the local Coffee shop where she lives with her Foster family. Totally house trained and a great little sleeper at night. Being a tripod does not impede her from getting around, this girl never has a bad day in her life. She can go to the dog park and make new friends. Her doggie friends range from big to small, but would be fine in a home all by herself too. She loves to sit and watch TV on the couch, she's eager for the World Cup, will you watch the games with her? She really is an amazing dog with a happy disposition.
